I See My Future In An Instant And There It Goes...

"The pessimist complains about the wind; the optimist expects it to change; and the realist adjusts the sails" These words inspire me a lot. I'd like to think that I adjust to the sails...Welcome to my site, I hope you enjoy your time here...Don't forget to sign the tag-board or guest book please!!!

Wow, over a month of not writing anything. I wonder how many people actually read this anymore. I'm sorry. I've been so busy with so many things. Anyhow, I'll beginwith where I left off a month ago. Well, Short Flag Nationals kicked butt! We placed 10th!! That's all we wanted this year, to place that is. We spent our sadies at Disney's California Adventure for the after party. It was ok this year. Jeannie and I had decided to ride the the roller coaster at least 10 times but once we got to 5 we got really dizzy. hehehe. After that competition we had Miss Dance/ Drill team USA and we did not place at all this year but we sureeee were not last! That was another goal we had this year that we accomplished. We had some fun and I love UCI!! I even went and got some BOBA there. Its great!

I've been studying hard and working on Military Ball this month. Its been quite hectic and time consuming. Its narrowed down to the last week and I am still running around finishing the payments. Juan is going to Stanford!!! I hope! I'm so proud of you Juan!! I knew you had it in you. I'm so happy that you got in. And Lyan is going to Berkley! Congrats on that too! At least you two will be close by! Amy got into MIT and I am so glad she did. I remember how she was bummed out and thought she was not going to make it in.

Spring break was a blast this year. I think this year topped it off too! Rachel and I went to spend the weekend with my sister at San Bernardino and I have so much to say about that. This is what happened this spring break:

Day 1: I didn't do anything but sleep in. I got in trouble with my mommy for not going to church on good Friday this year. To top that off, the shorties were supposed to hang out together in order to celebrate the baby's birthday (Michelle). Because I didn't go to church, I wasn't allowed out; thus, I could not go out with the girls which bummed me out. Later that day, Rachel came over to hang out and we talked for a while and discussed military ball.

Day 2: Tega and I made plans to hang out that Saturday. We went to the mall and hung out most of the afternooon. He needed to buy a couple of things as I did. It was funny becase our intent was to go buy ice cream and we eneded up not getting any at all. I did get Jelly Belly's at the end! The watermelon kind too! We chose some birthday cards for his sister, a serious one and a funny one. The funny one was hilarious. It was such a boy thing to say too. That was the beginning of a great sprng break. Thanks Tega!!!

Day 3: I went to y aunts house in Palmdale to spend Easter and celebrate my nephew's birthday. It was a nice family gathering and all though it was quite warm it was nice weather. My cousing just got engaged to a pretty popular L.A. radio spokesman and he asked her to marry him on T.V. on that past Friday too! He is extrememly nice and not snobby at all. Chris wanted to talk and stuff but I wasn't home at all. My mom got mad at me that day for missing chruch on accident. I was caught up on ironing everyone's clothes that I forgot to get ready myself and they couldn't wait for me.

Day 4: The C-130 flight was on this day. That was great! I met so many Camarillo cadets and some more Hueneme cadets. I already knew Adrian Pulido and I met Jacob Elder and we got along great! Jennifer Cordova is very sweet too! I also got to talk more to Ignacio Juarez. He has the cutest baby I swear! Its soo little. After that flight. Rachel, Adrian, jacob, Ignacio and I hung out. We got some Jamba and then they came over to my house. Then we took Rachel home and the guys hung out at my house until about nine. After that I took Ignacio home and that was the end of that.

Day 5: I relaxed at home! Yay! The Rachel, Tara, and I wentto buy some things for military ball. We made some of the sashe s then w eplayed around with the tiara's for a while. I talked to my new friends and Rachel and I talked and made plans for that weekend.

Day 6: I went to the Beach day at Point Magu. Pulido, Elder, Peterson, and I had a blast. Another Camarillo cadet named Jen Cordova likes monkeys like me. Rachel got soo sun burned and I just got a bit tanned. I also bought Peachy Pinguins! Yum! After the beach day Rachel and i went to my house washe d up and relaxed. Suprise of all suprises, Adriana and Jacob came over and took us to Applebee's. I've never beent here before and it was ok. Their lemonade was really good. We also washed my temporary car. (My dad sold it today)

Day 7: I was planning on relaxing but I decided to wash my mom's van to make up for not going to church sunday. She is still a bit upset about that. After that I was putting away the laundry and Jose stopped by. I had told him to hang out with me this week but he took me off guard. CJ was with him and I still needed to pick up some ribbon for the sashes so we went on a little road trip around Oxnard. First we stopped by CJ's friend's house. After that, we stopped at Ignacio's house. I got to see his cute puppy! Its soo playful! I also saw a few pictures of his baby. Its so little and cute! He also has various Aztec calendar's around his room which i thought was freakin' awesome! (Given that my bloodline is Aztec and Spanish. I'm a mestizo basically.) We talked for a few hours and then went to pick up the ribbon. After that, we stayed at Tara's for like 2 hours doing sashes and playing with the tiara's again while Jose watched Matrix Revolutions. After that I went home and ate dinner. unfortunately, as I was going to go cash a check I got from Mrs. chivallier, I hit my dad's tow truck with the van. It wasn't a had hit. It was very light but it was enough to scratch the back of the van and partially dent the bumper of the truck. I payed the remaining part of my dress. ( I should be getting that tomorrow.)

Day 8: rachel and I took the Amtrak to L.A. it was my first time riing the train and I was excited. when we got to L.A. we took the metrolink to San Bernardino and we weren't supposed to. LOL! We got a free train ride. We got there a lot earlier though so that's ok. Fabian, my sister's classmate, payed for our dinner that night adn that was really nice of him. We went to my sisters and changed. We picked up John and went down to Baja Cali to go clubbin'. After that experience which was loads of fun, I think I still like Italy's club better. But I still had a blast. Rene wanted to show of that he was a marine tot he guy I was dancing with and it turned out that the guy (Luis) was a marine sergent! We took some pictures. I think rene and rachel might hook up which is what I am hoping for. She is a really nice girl and he is a great guy. As we were going home at 4 and next thing you know we ran out of gas!! Since I was the lightest one, Amada and John had me steer the truck while Rachel and then pushed. fortunately, a guy stopped at the side of the road and helped out.He got us some gas and we were able to go get more gas. We didn't get home until 6 am. We slept in until noon and then got up and ate breakfast. We knocke dout again and didn't wake up until 5pm. That was crazy!

Day 9: After we woke up, we changed and fabian wanted to go celebrate his birthday. We were supposed to stay in the area and instead we went to San Diego and ate dinner at an expensive mexican Resturant. We also went to Camp Pendleton. HOT marines! Yeah! After that we ended up at baja Again. Geesh what a night! Of course, Rachel and rene Hung out and I met a hot Asian guy from Oxnard! LOL! Hewent to CI before. Also I met a hot guy named Terry from Temecula. Very polite guy! Anyhow, that was great! came home at 7;30 am. Geesh talk about a night!

Sorry I haven't been able to talk to a lot of people. I've been so caught up on everything. Especially Chris who needs to talk to me about something. Other than that I LOVED SPRING BREAK!
